The Los Angeles Chapter of the National Youth Rights Association will be hosting a "Know Your Rights" workshop. This non-profit event will teach basic constitutional rights and how to assert these rights in the face of authority. The well-known libertarian, Steve Silverman from flexyourrights.org, will be speaking at this workshop.

Steve Silverman is the founder and executive director of Flex Your Rights, an educational nonprofit. He is the creator of BUSTED: The Citizen's Guide to Surviving Police Encounters and the co-creator of 10 Rules for Dealing with Police. Silverman has worked to repeal Higher Education Act's aid-elimination penalty and successfully blocked several unconstitutional police schemes in and around the Washington DC Metropolitan area.
